COVID – 19 pandemics issued a severe restriction order on a majority of the world’s population. While people are struggling to recreate their routines in a limited environment, various companies are trying to assist them in their efforts. One of the entertaining activities is gaming. It makes sense for people who stay home to connect with their friends via game instead of hanging out together. Alas, there not an abundance of platforms that aid with communal gaming.
As an effort to be useful during the pandemic, Google is working on updating the social tab. Google Play can now be used to play a wide range of games with other people. The user will have a list and can add people to it. As a result, there will be an option to play in a group or individually with a person from the list.
So what is the update about? The profile is turning into a social tab. This update is not announced officially yet. Potentially, the upcoming update will give you a chance to play games with a group of people of your choice. The process of adding people will be working through the contact list or a link. The link is sent to a person and by clicking on it, they can start a game with you.
The importance of this feature should not be taken for granted. Currently, world leaders and governments are trying to keep people at home. Facilitating their entertainment is an efficient way to contribute to society’s struggle with the virus and for sure attract more admirers of the product.
